Ms. Rorrer has been teaching drama since 2006. She teaches elementary, middle, and high school drama, in two different classes. She likes to teach drama because she says that it's fun and has lots of life lessons. Many have been eager to know if she is going to do a play and when. Perhaps the answer to that question is better: she is putting on two plays.
And one of the best things about the plays is that everybody got the parts they wanted. The reason there are going to be two plays is that the 2nd through 5th is doing a different play then the 6th through 12th's play.
Her favorite drama game is called ‘what are you doing’. What inspired her to start her acting journey was the first performance she had ever put on. That performance sparked her passion. She actually teaches eleven classes in total. Teaching is a challenge, and she says that it gets harder and harder because there are so many distractions in the world. Regardless, she loves the children she teaches as they love her, and would choose them over not teaching at all. That is what sparks her passion further; the passion for teaching, the passion for learning, and dressing up to put on a wonderful show.

The Drama class description:
This class provides an age-appropriate introduction to theatre basics including the elements of acting, how to create a character, and the components of a good play. Students will be engaged and challenged with creative fun as they are set on a path to self confidence while learning to work collaboratively with others to prepare and perform a theatre production in January.
