LTAV, which stands for Learning Together Antelope Valley, is a school in Quartz Hill. It is currently owned by Pamela Evola. Pamela Evola said LTAV was made ‘to support the education of Homeschoolers’. In Mrs. Pamela’s words, ‘We were already running The Devine Schoolhouse, so when we decided to start Learning Together we just continued our work under the new name.’ LTAV started in 2022 and its original school (Devine Schoolhouse) started in 2018. LTAV also has a new location for school meaning they can offer more classes.

LTAV has two class rooms and a playground. Both class rooms have stairs and a ramp for accessibility. The room closest to the playground has one white board, while the other has two! The playground features a small piano, two slides, a tube you can look through, a blue roof, and climbing bars.

The new location is also located in Quartz Hill on the corner of Avenue M and 50th Street West. It has a large classroom and a smaller classroom. One of the teachers said, ‘Adding class rooms and another day has been great for our school. We have even been able to add another teacher!’

LTAV offers classes for students in TK to 12 grade. Classes include Reading, Drama, Spanish, Math, STEM, Journalism, and Mock Trial. They also offer online classes in reading, writing, and science. Currently they teach classes on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Most of the time when they teach subjects they have games involving the subject they’re teaching (which makes learning fun)!

LTAV does field trips like pumpkin picking, trunk or treating, watching plays, etc! LTAV started doing these field trips in October 2023, so they haven’t done many field trips at the time of writing this. Don’t worry though, they have more field trips planned!

Today, LTAV has existed with its new name for 1 year. It was made to support the education of homeschooling. It started at Quartz Hill Antelope Valley, and it is a tutoring and enrichment center for homeschool students.

I hope you enjoyed your Tour of LTAV and its history. You can unbuckle your seat belts because the ride has ended. But a new ride might begin in the next school year of LTAV.
